Acquisition Manager, Sweden

European Energy is a Danish privately owned company in rapid growth. We construct wind and photovoltaic (PV) projects, from greenfield development to construction, operation, and divestment. Our company of more than 300 employees has since 2004 installed more than 2.0 GW of renewable energy. We operate globally and employ 25 different nationalities at our HQ in Copenhagen and our offices in Sweden, UK, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, and Spain. Our mission is to be a significant force in the global transition to a fossil free society.
As our new Acquisition Manager, you will work with European Energy’s future projects in Sweden. You will see yourself in an environment with a big variation of interesting tasks within screening and acquiring new projects within the Wind industry. In close collaboration with our colleagues, you will buy project rights on an ongoing basis and keep an overview on the market development in Sweden. A big part of the role involves frequent dialogue with relevant stakeholders in the industry.

Primary responsibilities
- Screen for new acquisition targets within onshore Wind
- Buy project rights in collaboration with other internal departments such as transaction services
- Maintain a continuous dialogue with stakeholders in the industry.
- Overview of market development
Professional skills we expect from you
- You have completed a bachelor or master at university level or an equivalent institution within economics, engineering or law
- Experience conducting market intelligence and screening of potential projects
- Experience in transaction processes
- Knowledge of the renewable energy industry, primarily in wind and solar technologies is an advantage
- You are an experienced user in MS Office
- You master Swedish and English
