Product Development
To strengthen our development competences and deliver on our ambitious strategic targets, we seek two experienced and passionate Product Development Scientists for our nutraceutical and cannabinoid team. As a Product Development Scientist, you will be part of a team of 14 dedicated colleagues who are specialized in formulation and process development.
In the Product Development team our aim is developing excellent products with active ingredients across formats such as gum, lozenge, melting tablets and pouches. We collaborate across departments on strategy, formulation, process development, tech transfer and ramp up activities for commercial production.
Key responsibilities:
As a Product Development Scientist, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and documenting development trials of customer projects in laboratory, pilot and commercial scales.
- You will be responsible for development of oral products with various active ingredient, focusing on creating pleasant and robust formulations.
- You will practice “hands-on” development in close collaboration with application technicians in both laboratory and full-scale.
- You will contribute with establishing robust manufacturing processes to meet the agreed commercial targets for the new products before hand over to Supply Chain.
- Together with the project team, you communicate with customers and external experts during the development phase.
- You contribute to document the development process in order to establish the development sections of regulatory dossiers and follow-up with costumers and authorities.
There is flexibility for hybrid working, and you should expect to travel approximately 20 days per year.
Experience & competencies
- You have a master’s degree in Food Science, Pharmacy or similar technical/academic background.
- You have at least 3 years of experience with formulation and process development.
- Preferable you have experience with powder and tableting technology.
- You have knowledge with the terms of GMP, Quality by Design (QbD), Design of Experiments (DoE) and risk assessment.
- You are proactive, systematic and can establish and discuss a scientific approach including risks and benefits for issues during product development.
- You have good communication skills and are fluent in Danish and English.
