At Kvik we want to accelerate our growth even further, for us “the sky is the limit,” our ambitions are to pass 2,5 billion dkk in 2025; in Category Management we will support this journey by strengthening our current categories; Kitchen, Bath & Wardrobe and add new categories fit to be sold through our fast-growing store network, and on future e-commerce platform.
Category Management consist of 10 dedicated employees who all share the same passion for Danish Design.
In Category Management we own the full product development process from Idea/design to implementation in stores. We constantly manage our categories and maintain current assortment. To ensure successful launches this process follows a 6 step State Gate model.
Category management is a central part of the Kvik organization, we work with many touchpoints and stakeholders both internal and external.
As a part of Category Management, you will be responsible to develop, grow, and maintain the categories; Storage, and new categories, new categories that will be relevant for our Brand and our customers, and that you will be a part of defining.
The Job
You will work with design, concept development, defining ranges and category management within storage and new categories.
Some products you develop from scratch together with our own or external designers, others you carefully select from new suppliers’ assortment’s.
You conceptualize your ideas to maximize sales potential
You develop own business cases and track product performance after launch.
You work closely with our purchasing team balancing choice of suppliers, MOQ’s and prices.
As Product manager – Storage, and new categories, you will be responsible to grow these categories and you work with our project team to develop a state gate model fit for your categories.
You enrich our Product Information Management system with product data for us in marketing and e-com.
Your overall goal is successful product launch and high category performance.
Your profile
You have minimum 5 years’ experience from similar position preferable within the furniture business
Today you posses a position as product manager, category manager or purchaser.
You are good with numbers and value data insights.
Solid track record of having created growth and successful product launches
You have an eye for what will sell, and what the price point should be for a given product
You are competitive, KPI driven and want your categories to win
You value good corporation and team spirit
You are ready to travel up to 30 days pr year, mainly in Europe.
