Data Engineering & Analytics Control Infrastructure Engineering Control & Auxiliary Power
In Control Infrastructure, Control & Auxiliary Power, we have the responsibility of the Low-Voltage systems in the turbines. In our daily work, we are in very close interaction with our main stakeholder as we support all systems in the turbines across both onshore and offshore projects.

The team is involved in various activities including innovation projects, feasibility studies and prototype testing, while focusing on product development as our main objective. The core outputs within Control and Auxiliary Power is the complete design of the auxiliary power system consisting of specifications of the Low-Voltage electrical panels, power back-up, cable tray system, cables and integration of the control system in the turbine. Our core competencies are within electrical engineering, integration of products and requirements specifications.

Responsibilities
As Technical Lead in Control & Auxiliary Power, your main responsibility is to handle and provide solutions for the APS system in Control Infrastructure. This includes:

  • You will work in close interaction and collaboration with our global R&D teams as well as external suppliers
  • You will lead technical projects following the Vestas stage gate model, from early concept stage, through design and verification. Project timeline is primarily 1-1½ year
  • Your main responsibility will be driving technical solutions in a technical project manager function
  • You will have to implement new design in accordance with Vestas' process and Engineering Change Management system
  • You will have design responsibility creating high level technical purchase descriptions, enabling external suppliers to deliver our products in the expected quality and within the agreed timelines

Qualifications

  • B.Sc.E.E, M.Sc.E.E or other relevant education combined with 2 years of professional experience
  • Knowledge with Control panel design
  • Knowledge of Low-Voltage component and system testing
  • Knowledge on International standards such as IEC, UL, etc., preferably IEC 60204-1 Machine directive
  • Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written)
  • Working experience from a global company would be an advantage
