About the department
Corporate Procurement is responsible for the indirect spend in Novo Nordisk and for defining and driving the global procurement strategy. Corporate Procurement consists of 140 employees based in Denmark and India, and globally 500 people work in procurement. Corporate Procurement is anchored with direct report to the CFO of Novo Nordisk.

The job
As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in optimizing processes throughout the procurement and financial value chain. You will be part of projects which significantly impact the performance of our company and set the future direction for procurement globally.
You will be working closely with stakeholders across the company, at all levels, to design and execute global strategies that takes procurement to the next level. This incorporates your ability to
- Define and bridge business needs with digital opportunities
- Facilitate change and manage various projects effectively
- Investigate and apply best practice and innovation
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels across the global organisation
- Apply analytical skills to define impact
You will be part of a team of 10 ambitious people, where performance and fun goes hand in hand. A team where proactivity, engagement and the ability to constantly and relentlessly challenge “As-Is”, to establish best practice, is a natural part of the work.
You find it natural to ensure proactive cooperation and knowledge sharing within the team and across the global procurement organization, in order to execute projects that engage and delight our key stakeholders. You will be based in Denmark however, as part of our global span some travel activities can be expected.
Qualifications
You have completed a master’s degree (e.g. in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or similar) with excellent results. You bring a solid project management toolbox build on 2-5 years of experience working with procurement, project management or finance in a leading organisation or as a management consultant.
You are known for your strong drive and ability to create results, your problem solving & analytical skills and an international mind-set. As you will cooperate broadly with many stakeholders, you have excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills and you communicate clearly and concisely. Finally, you work fluently in English.
