About the area
Diabetes Finished Products (DFP) is responsible for providing top-quality products for patients with diabetes every day. At DFP Bagsværd, 650 dedicated employees work to fulfill a key role in the DFP network:
- DFP Bagsværd ensures launch and validation of all new products, contributing to the future growth of DFP and Novo Nordisk.
- DFP Bagsværd is a worldwide backup supplier for the other DFP production sites
- DFP Bagsværd is an exclusive supplier of products with small production volume. By producing low volume products DFP Bagsværd enables other sites in DFP to focus on high volume and more cost competitive production.
The Operation Optimisation team consist of five highly skilled and motivated cLEAN® partners who strive for production and process excellence.
The position
The position is divided into two key areas; support to a specific production department as “point of contact” identifying relevant projects and supporting Lean tasks. The second focus of the position is the role of Lean project manager driving key projects across the site.
Based on the business needs and strategic direction, you will support the process by identifying the most important projects and will be responsible for the implementation process in close cooperation with the local management team. Besides that, you will also coach employees and management members in how to practice the cLEAN® tools such as Systematic Problem Solving, Value Stream Mapping and KATA.
To be successful in the job, you possess a high level of initiative, influence and improvement knowledge to drive change management processes and projects. You possess personal authority to lead, coach and provide honest and direct feedback.
You will report to the Project Director for Operation Optimisation and become a member of an ambitious and highly engaged team.
Qualifications
You hold a master’s degree as Production Engineer or similar, a Six Sigma black belt (LEAN® 3 star) or similar. You have at least 5 years of experience in Lean implementation. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of regulated production processes, extensive project management experience and/or experience as people manager.
You have great communication skills and can work cross-functionally. With your drive and ability to independently set direction for an area you act as a catalyst for change with strong skills in change management combined with very strong strategic skills.
