About the department
You will be a part of Product Supply (PS) Environment, which is the central Environmental unit in Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply division. In Product Supply, our mission is to be the best supplier of pharmaceutical products, operating in a lean, environmentally sound and socially responsible way. PS Environment is a key player in succeeding with this mission, as we are responsible for executing on Novo Nordisk Environmental Strategy in Product Supply and for supporting the production sites in Product Supply globally. The department is located in Bagsværd and consists of a group of 8 Environmental experts who supports Product Supply production sites globally as regards to Novo Nordisk Environmental Strategy, our Environmental Management System according to ISO 14001 as well as Environmental compliance.
The job
In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of analyses based on environmental, production and financial data, e.g. Business/Manufacturing Intelligence analysis and mass balances, to identify and pursue optimisation opportunities.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for our annually environmental impact assessment, implementing a new Corporate Reporting System (IT SaaS solution) in Product Supply as well as keeping our environmental tools updated. Moreover, you will be responsible for reporting environmental data from Product Supply to Novo Nordisk Annual Report.
You will work closely with the environmental organisation, IT, managers and other relevant stakeholders to support continuous environmental improvements in Product Supply, globally. Your stakeholder landscape will be vast and varied, so this is a unique opportunity for developing your stakeholder management skills in a global organisation, while having the opportunity to create lasting impact.
Qualifications
You hold a Master’s degree in Business administration, Engineering, IT, or other relevant subject and you have 1-3 year experience in Data Analysis – preferably in an environmental context. It is an advantage if you have experience with Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, AWS analytics toolsand environmental processes and/or systems.
The job holds a certain amount of coordination with Global IT, therefore candidates with higher than average IT understanding are welcomed.
You have strong analytical skills and an apt sense of details and are able to deliver high quality results in a complex business environment. Most importantly, you are able to see patterns in complex datasets and build a narrative around it which you communicate in a simple way. Moreover, you have great English language skills, verbally as well as written and you are good at connecting and communicating with your stakeholder in the organisation. You have a reputation as a person with a naturally high engagement and a willingness to make a difference which you use to create impact around you.
