Delivery Lead to ensure flexible and extendable IT architecture (for our IT Scalability Programme).

Are you a result-oriented IT project management professional, passionate about ensuring optimal processes? Do you want to play a key part in the IT Scalability Programme; removing bottlenecks and adding IT capabilities to ensure the growth of Novo Nordisk? Can you ensure pace and drive maximum value within the allocated time- and money box? Then you might be our new Delivery Lead, where you will be responsible for managing and driving our strategic project achieving a fast self-serviced cloud infrastructure. About the role As our new delivery lead, you will join our IT Scalability Programme, where we implement the next generation of shared IT services and infrastructure that is required for enabling the scaling of Novo Nordisk. Here you will be co-driving one of the projects – aimed at creating a fast self-serviced cloud infrastructure, consisting of an opinionated set of processes and tools gathered into golden paths using best practices. By doing so, you will be responsible for building an automated cloud onboarding through self-service, which is ready for development and releasing within minutes . In order words, you will have a vital role in ensuring Novo Nordisk continued digital expansion ensuring a real difference, for real people. In your new role, you will be co-working with the theme owner (owning the outcome) and be responsible for executing, structure, and organizing the day-to-day activities. To achieve this, you will need to deploy your IT project management toolbox, successfully manage the theme to deliver the optimal outcome. More specifically, your responsibilities will evolve around the following areas:
  • Mobilise, organise, and execute the theme through sub-projects and initiatives to ensure alignment with the theme's objectives.
  • Form day-to-day working model, using appropriate tools and techniques to successfully manage projects with key focus on maximising outcome while keeping deadlines and managing the theme’s budget across sub-projects and initiatives.
  • Ensuring conformity to IT Scalability Programme’s ways of working.
  • Be a driving force in outwards organisational change management in a complex stakeholder landscape across teams and departments.
  • Co-managing teams of 30 developers, where you will resolve impediments, risks, and dependencies within the theme, ensuring a strong and high preforming team behaviour.
  • Overall, you should be able to balance technical IT and process insights with project management skills and be able to effectively communicate, advise and collaborate with stakeholders across organizational levels and functions to achieve programme success.
    What we’re looking for? To be successful in the role, that you hold a degree within a relevant field, for example, engineering, computer science, or business administration, and have a few years of experience in IT project management, preferably in an agile setting. Maybe you have a background in management consulting?
    Likewise, we believe that you will be able to tick the following boxes:
  • Previous experience within cost management of projects, including with external vendors.
  • An initiative mindset, strong drive, and motivation to drive change at all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills as you will be guiding and challenging your colleagues when needed, as well interact with stakeholders in a complex environment.
  • Strong abilities, as you will be conveying complex information clearly both verbally and in writing, taking a tactical approach.
  • Experience with the SAFe framework and GxP, will be an added advantage.
