As our new Senior Planner you will be part of our newly established “Future Proofing Aseptic Production” team within our Novo Nordisk Injectable Finished Products organisation and support the responsible Program Management Team.
The target of the program is to ensure GMP compliance of our current filling line equipment; and to fulfil future Regulatory Authority expectations. Within the program we develop new technology platforms, and perform major equipment upgrades of exiting filling lines and their supporting functions.
As our Senior Planner, you will set-up the systems and project structure, and drive our technology development and implementation roadmap across the Future Proofing AP rollout programs. Examples include all planning activities for upgrading our conventional lines with RABS, stopper preparation, or the installation of completely new lines.
Once the Program Management systems have been successfully developed, you will be routinely responsible for driving the updating of the schedules for each of the work Programs; whilst supporting the active management of project resources, costs, risks and escalation of key items and tasks.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Establishing resource-loaded integrated schedules for rollout Programs
• Defining and communicating the critical paths to enable close control of critical tasks
• Ensuring timely escalation and resolution of issues
• Driving the routine updates required to support Program Governance
You will be working both with the teams in Bagsværd and our production network in Denmark, France, China, US and Brazil. As your projects will be cross-borders, some travelling would be expected, this is estimated up to 10%.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:
• An academic degree within engineering, pharmaceutical science, economics or similar
• Several years of experience as a Senior Planner of a Projects or Programme Management Office; and have hands on experience leading projects in a highly matrixed environment
• Experience from, ideally, the pharmaceutical industry which includes end-to-end projects for design-build-validate, technology transfer and start-up for aseptic production and filling technology or similar
• Good communication skills, including the ability to target your communication at a broad set of stakeholders at all organisational levels
• Professional proficiency in English
On a personal level, you have a curious mind and a drive to set and reach ambitious targets on new ground. As you have a structured approach to your work, you can juggle several tasks while prioritising your efforts optimally by keeping the bigger picture in mind. The ability to work both as a team member and alone when required would be beneficial. You are a team player, and able to quickly build strong working relationships.
About the department
Our VP area IFP Technology Innovation is responsible for technology development that will ensure that our brand new IFP aseptic production sites and our existing sites use the latest technologies and processes. We play an essential role for the future of Novo Nordisk, and we are expected to be the front runners for development of new technologies, but also to set ambitious goals and deliver the needed solutions for the future aseptic production.
Within our Future Proofing AP department, we ensure equipment of existing facilities is compliant and efficient based on technology platform development, life-cycle management strategy, and execution gameplan and in close collaboration with our aseptic production sites in China, France, Denmark, Brazil, and the United States.
