The position
As a Junior LEAN Partner for Injectable Finished Products Quality Control (IFP QC) department, your main objectives are to support the organisation in working in a more LEAN focused way and to continuously improve our processes. Your role can be divided into two main areas that include bringing your expertise and toolbox within LEAN to help the organisation to continuously improve the current state as well as becoming a partner to the management in transforming the organisation.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Providing shopfloor coaching to managers and team members to sustain and develop LEAN principles in the departments
Playing a key role in implementation of LEAN Leadership across the department
Enabling the department to do systematic problem solving (SPS) through facilitation of SPS meetings and coaching of employees in the SPS methods
Providing support to the existing departments by facilitating workshops and contributing to the development and construction of the future QC laboratory
Recommending new concepts and solutions to the occurring problems
Additionally, in this role you will be required to travel between our sites in Bagsværd and Hillerød.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is good at connecting with people at all levels within the organization and builds long lasting relationships in a global environment. Our ideal candidate is not only a great communicator but also has great stakeholder management skills.
To succeed in this role, you have: BSc or MSc Degree within engineering, chemistry, pharmacy, business management or production management
At least 2 years of experience within process or business optimisation. Experience in environments implementing LEAN e.g., manufacturing or QC will be considered an advantage
LEAN toolbox with practical experience in applying concepts such as performance boards, systematic problem solving, as well as shopfloor coaching experience
Strategic mindset combined with solid analytical skills
Professional proficiency in English; knowledge of Danish will be an advantage
On a personal level, you are proactive and feel comfortable with taking initiative. You have a strong personal drive and dedication combined with a ‘can-do’ attitude. Your interpersonal skills make you a great team player who is curious about the processes and co-workers. You enjoy learning and developing new skills and can demonstrate prowess in stakeholder management and attention to details.
About the department
The IFP QC Strategy, Standards and Optimization department within the quality control organisation in Manufacturing Development, is an area consisting of 9 dedicated and experienced employees driving the support functions across IFP QC labs. We are an international team with 4 different nationalities driving initiatives, both individually and together, that are related to LEAN, planning, project management, GMP and data analysis across the IFP QC labs.
