The position
You will become part of the Project Management Office for Future QC focusing on Project Controls and will report directly to the Head of PMO. The Project Management Office is responsible for all aspects of project control, including cost, risk, scope, and scheduling. This position allows you to challenge yourself and join the team during a critical phase-shift from design to execution.
As a Project Scheduler at Novo Nordisk, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by ensuring the successful planning and execution of a large CAPEX project. Your key tasks will include:
• Being the single point of contact for scheduling within the project, including active schedule development and maintenance to align with project objectives and timelines.
• Develop and maintain scheduling processes, procedures, and tools by implementing and coordinating them across the project.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams as well as provide continuous guidance, direction, and support to project members in providing input, identify dependencies and constraints and following the project plan.
• Conducting regular progress reviews and providing accurate and timely updates to stakeholders.
• Identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues that may affect project timelines.
• Coordinating project control efforts with the cost, risk, document, reporting, and change control disciplines, and taking a holistic approach to integrating those disciplines into the project.
Through your collaborative work approach, you ensure the continuous best practice scheduling processes and tools to support proactive and sound decision making. It is important that you are able to challenge project control colleagues, external partners i.e. engineering, and project members and managers to find the best scheduling setup.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
• BA or MA degree within Business Administration, Engineering, or a similar subject.
• + 5 years of documented experience within scheduling and project planning.
• Experience from large CAPEX programs and projects, preferably within the pharma industry and/or establishing new production facilities.
• Skilled in Oracle Primavera Cloud and MS Projects.
• Fluent in written and spoken English, as well as excellent communication skills, and stakeholder management.
Moreover, we expect you to be agile, ready to adapt to change, and thrive in a fluid and complex environment. You should be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and remain flexible in a dynamic work environment.
It is important that you are comfortable communicating complex ideas and collaborating with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and cultures. You should possess excellent interpersonal skills, be an active listener, and be able to build positive relationships.
