About the department
Site Support & Improvements is a dynamic department, consisting of 100 competent employees, within manufacturing development in DFP (Diabetes Finished Products). The department supports our global DFP sites in manufacturing our diabetes products and sets the direction for new technology, innovation and production optimisation. A high level of knowledge and process understanding is anchored in the department.
The position
As LEAN process manager you will be responsible for driving LEAN principles throughout the department and are expected to apply, facilitate and coach use of LEAN tools such as VSM, KATA and systematic problem solving in your daily work.
In this role you will have numerous daily encounters with a wide range of stakeholders incl. manufacturing specialists and professionals and management to ensure LEAN thinking is applied throughout. You will be responsible for driving and executing process optimisations and ensuring project deadlines are reached timely.
Qualifications
You hold an academic degree as Pharmacist, Engineer or similar and have a proven track record in conducting LEAN principles; ideally you have a cLEAN® 2*/Six Sigma Green Belt. You have project management experience and are excellent in facilitation techniques and change management.
You have a high degree of can-do mind set and drive and you are able to challenge the existing way of working. Your energy and willingness to make a difference and optimise processes shows in your daily work. We are looking for a person who is open minded, outgoing and has a natural ability to network.
