Technical Project Manager for medical device production
Do you want to work in the field between R/D and Production? And would you like to work with production of microelectronics and have a strong interest in New Product Introduction (NPI) and launch excellence in Demant? Then you should join us and become a part of a NPI project management team.
Demant is a leading global hearing health care company. We develop, manufacture and sells products and equipment, which helps people with hearing loss connect and communicate with the world around them. In Demant we focus on four activities: hearing devices, hearing implants, diagnostics instruments and personal communication devices.
Demant in Ballerup is the global competence center for microelectronics and the production site for all amplifiers used in the Demant’s hearing aids. We are looking for a project manager with a high technical and practical focus, good coordination skills and a strong hands-on approach.
The Team
You will join a team of 17 people, each working within different areas of bringing new product into volume production. As a project manager you will be working together with nearly all departments locally at the Ballerup site as well as the R/D department.
As a team we value strong teamwork, where knowledge is shared, and help is only a desk away. We have in a professional work atmosphere, but a good laugh is never far away.
The Job
As project manager you will oversee your own portfolio of projects, where the main objectives are:
- Secure production related inputs to the design in early phases and in close cooperation with the R/D department
- Mature the local manufacturing setup by building lab series and at the same time deliver parts into design and verification flow of the new product
- Build up the Device Master Record for the product and secure compliance with our local and global release processes
- Responsibility for product release into volume production and secure design transfer
- Keep overview and strong coordination of all project activities

Could we be a match?
Ideally, you have completed a BSc or MSc with a combination of design and project management. You may also have some years of relevant work experience within project coordination and
product development. You are motivated by being close to the product manufacturing and find it motivating to work independently with your projects. As part of a delivery organization, you see the value in stakeholder management as a part of a successful project. You can stay focused even though things around you change and new decisions need to be made.

Because of the summer period we will start contacting candidates medio August.
First round interviews will be conducted on the 20th of August. Final round interviews are scheduled to be held on the 26th of August.
