Would you like a highly influential role where you bring people together and ensure the success of all design projects within GN Audio’s brand Jabra?
We are looking for project managers with experience within design and consumer electronics to join our Design team. You will be joining a global leader in intelligent audio solutions and help your design colleagues transform lives through the power of sound.
Joining GN – leading major technology shifts with intelligent audio solutions
At Jabra, we develop innovative audio and video solutions with great sound quality and excellent design to ensure that people will be able to hear more, do more and be more than ever thought possible.
You will be joining our growing team of highly skilled designers at our HQ in Ballerup. We are responsible for designing all Jabra products with a continuous focus on quality and function. Charged with concepting our future portfolio and design process, we craft pioneering designs with a strong focus on experience led design, color, materials and ergonomics.
Your purpose is to increase the accountability of design activities and projects as you make sure all design needs are supported, tracked and delivered in time.
Manage the design function and ensure that all needs are met
Collaborating closely with head of design, you will provide project management for multiple design projects from start to finish. Doing so, you work with designers, R&D, product and program management and design consultants and agencies regarding the projectization of design aspects of product programs as well as ensuring that design activities and goals are met.
This means, that you will:

When the world opens again, you will also travel 15-20 days a year internationally, visiting sites and suppliers and interact with product programmers.

And most importantly, you are pragmatic in your approach to your tasks enabling you to ensure operational and organizational success.

- Identify design dependencies from other functions and monitor progress and performance according to the project plan
- Coordinate the design aspects of projects where external vendors are involved to ensure they are integrated into the project and that the organizational standards of service are obtained
- Supervise activities, allocate resources and assign tasks to ensure the design targets are met
- Conduct project meetings and prepare regular reports to communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team
- Promote the documentation process and execution in the team as well as quantify the needs regarding project budgets

- Have experience working with project management within user experience, electrical or design engineering, software development or the design field
- Can show a proven track record working with consumer electronics in a product or design context
- Show a natural interest in design
- Are fluent in English – Danish is an advantage
