Are you ready to help develop and advance Toms Group's sustainability vision and strategy while making a meaningful impact? Join our Sustainability & Communications team as a Sustainability Manager and be a part of our commitment to sustainability.
Responsibilities
As Sustainability Manager, your primary responsibilities include enabling and supporting Toms Group in achieving our sustainability strategy's ambitions and targets. This involves project management, stakeholder engagement, and adapting to changing legal requirements and market demands.
Your work tasks will also include:
Managing cross-functional alignment of Sustainability Teams.
Responsible for the Annual non-financial report and comply with new legal requirements.
Managing and daily driver of sustainability-related partnerships and memberships.
Enhancing Toms Group's external sustainability ratings and public image.
Navigating the regulatory and legislative landscape to ensure compliance and educate cross-functional teams.
A part of the Sustainability & Communications department
In this role, strong project management and communication skills are a plus, as you will be instrumental in utilizing sustainability as a competitive advantage and strengthening communication about it.
You will collaborate with other departments, including Marketing, Climate Team, Procurement, and Sourcing, to ensure effective progress of projects, partnerships, and achievements across relevant cross-functional platforms.
Who you are?
We're looking for a dedicated sustainability specialist with a deep understanding of environmental and social challenges in a business context. Ideal candidates have experience leading sustainability initiatives like UNGC and SBTi.
You are a collaborative, innovative problem solver with a positive and professional attitude. Building trust with stakeholders comes naturally to you, and you possess a visionary mindset, along with a commitment to ongoing learning.
