Responsible for driving the Implementation of Simplification, Regulatory and NPD projects
As a member of the innovation team you will play a key role in managing Simplification, Regulatory and New Product Development(NPD) projects across different categories in the European Branded Division.
More specifically once a Product, Simplification or Regulatory driven proposition has been defined and approved it is the person’s role to ensure the project gets through the development process and ready for launch as Commercial lead.
The position reports to the International Innovation Director, Europe Branded Division.
The location of the position is in Gentofte, Denmark where the Scandinavian Tobacco Group HQ is located.

We are looking for a person that understands both marketing and the supply chain across the business as changes in demand from markets can affect production and logistics. The person will be co-operating with project leads from supply chain.

Our European branded marketing team consists of a number of dedicated and highly skilled marketing and innovation professionals. We are responsible for all consumer, brand and strategic marketing and innovation activities throughout our mass market categories.

Main Tasks And Responsibilities
- Simplification and regulatory project lead responsible for continuous tracking on project execution in collaboration with relevant Operation teams
- Participates and drives own projects in bi-weekly project meetings for the product development community (commercial and supply chain)
- Maintain consistency and accuracy of information flow and project documentation between commercial and supply chain teams
- Champions and facilitates execution of the NPD/ Simplification Development Process and documentation of high standard
- Develop and implement best practices in commercial to optimize and speed up product development procedures
- Identify areas of improvements and concerns and recommend improvements
What is needed to succeed?
We are looking for a person that understands both marketing and the supply chain across the business as changes in demand from markets can affect production and logistics. The person will be co-operating with project leads from supply chain.
- Minimum 2-3 years experience with project management
- Strong project management skills
- Experience with executing NPD projects – preferably within FMCG
- Experience in managing cross-functional remote teams as part of project management
- Knowledge of Stage-Gate or NPD processes and new SKU creation/delisting will be a plus
