Are you an ambitious project-oriented engineer who can liaison with R&D and Production? Can you successfully manage multiple projects at a time from start-to-end varying in sizes and diversity? If you enjoy having a high impact in terms of responsibility and dialogue with many different stakeholders, then you may be the right person to join our team in Hammel, Denmark.

Manufacturing & Global Procurement Converters & Controls Production Engineering
The department is responsible for project execution in New Product Introduction (NPI) and Technology Transfers (TT) within the Converter & Control segment, delivering Electronics and Converters. That means projects with a big impact in various part of our organisation, throughout the value chain from design, sourcing, manufacturing and to service. We ensure that the detailed design is delivered on time and that the ramp up in serial production is executed according to agreed targets.

You will be heading one or more projects at a time depending on the size and complexity. You manage projects from the scope is defined and till handover in serial production. You will become part of a team consisting of eight highly skilled Project Managers.

Responsibilities

  • You lead your project team and make sure you have the right progress and perform within the agreed time, quality and cost
  • You ensure to prioritise the tasks in your projects so that people always work on the right and value-adding tasks
  • You make resource estimates and ensure resources are allocated to your projects from the line organisation
  • You prepare and conduct Steering committee- and project status meetings
  • You ensure necessary progress in your projects and highlight deviations and issues
  • You ensure that our processes are followed, and you contribute to a continuous improvement of our processes as well

Qualifications
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree as Electrical/ Mechanical/Production engineer or similar relevant.

In addition:

  • You have minimum three years of experience within project management, leading technical complex projects
  • You have an IPMA certification or similar
  • You are used to managing global stakeholders
  • You are a good communicator, and you can communicate cross cultural
  • Experience from the electrical area will be an advantage
  • You speak and write English fluently. Danish proficiency is not required but it is advantage

Additional information
Primary work location will be in Hammel, Denmark.

You can expect a certain amount of travel activity abroad (less than 25 days annually).
