This is who we are
At our HQ in Hedehusene, you will become a part of our Projects & Planning department (PP) within Group Technology. We are 14 specialists working closely together, more specifically 8 project managers and 6 different specialists in safety, planning and assistance. We are all high achievers who thrive with great responsibility. Knowledge sharing is key in our work, and we do our best to take advantage of each other’s expertise to keep evolving and better our results.

This is the role
As a project manager, you will have the overall responsibility to run international projects from beginning to end. You will make sure that all of phases of the project are conducted within the agreed scope, time and budget frame, providing the customer with the security of a well-run workflow.
Besides an ongoing collaboration with costumers and stakeholders, you will have a close collaboration with the project stakeholders and the director of PP. Specifically, you will keep the project owner informed on the project status regarding time, budget, and potential risks, including mitigation plans.
In this position, you will:
• Manage projects for Operating Companies (OPCO)
• Travel to our international factories to manage and execute projects in international cross-cultural environments 60-80 days a year
• Work in an organisation in growth with strong focus on environmental footprint, health and safety
• Build and motivate the project team (in office and on site) and coordinate between project stakeholders
• Keep track of and update key decision documents in a project and ensure that the content of the documents is approved by the steering group
• Execute projects according to the ROCKWOOL project execution model, based on Prince2 principles
• Be responsible for safety on the project

Moreover, we imagine that you:
• Hold a technical degree, preferably within engineering
• Have 5-8 years+ of experience within project management and execution of large engineering and construction projects
• Possess good communication skills, both oral and written
• Master the art of negotiation – both with in-house stakeholders and cross-cultural clients
• Are ready to travel 60-80 days per year when leading international projects
