Job description
As Project Manager you will be fully responsible of your own projects throughout the project lifecycle. Your projects will support several Terma application areas and focus primarily on Product Development including Systems Engineering, SW, HW and Mechanical disciplines.
The project management activities include project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and project status reporting as well as balancing value-adding project frontloading.
By being visible and following up on performance, you create understanding and commitment to project progress from everyone. This is further supported by your ability to foresee risks and address uncertainties, and by handling the associated mitigating and corrective actions in time.
To a large extent, your success depends on your ability to manage stakeholders by means of communication and negotiation, and how you handle change requests throughout the project planning and execution phases.
Additionally, you will be involved in estimation of opportunities in both Sales and Product Management.
At times, you must be prepared for a challenging and dynamic environment. You must also count on some travelling – primarily domestic – when success depends on it.

Your professional qualifications
- You have a proven track record in delivering projects on-scope, on-time, and on-cost
- Experience working with HW/MEC and SW platforms incl. agile development
- Ability to lead complex, systems engineering-heavy projects
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Solid practice in managing risks and addressing changes
- Strong leadership skills, powerful business acumen, and deep technical understanding
- MSc or BSc in Engineering or similar relevant education
- +5 years’ work experience from similar position level, preferable within a regulated industry
- Project Management certificate and experience with Cyber Security, AI, IT Application/BI and/or DevOps would be a plus
- You are fluent in written and spoken English
