Be part of exciting site expansion project
FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies have begun its large-scale cell culture expansion project in Hillerød. The expansion will be transformative, significantly expanding their ability to support current and future partners, infusing sustainability efforts into future operations, and further strengthening their leadership in biologic drug substance manufacturing. This fosters many projects including continuous changes to the production setup and processing equipment.
Bridgebuilder between existing and new site facilities
FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies is looking for a Senior Project Process Engineer that can take on a role bridging the new facility with the existing. You will be responsible for ensuring that process engineering requirements are technically fit for purpose and meet the statutory requirements. Moreover, you will be responsible for designing, specifying, and supervising contractors and vendors in relation to new equipment installations.
Another crucial part of the role is the participation in and overseeing of commissioning and validation activities, as well as the provision of support and information to other parts of the manufacturing and project organization as required for new processing equipment installations and modifications to existing equipment. You will be a part of the Process Engineering & Validation department that handles validation, up- and downstream and support to the production.
Cross-functional role
One of the challenges in the role is to ensure compliance and show an ability to adapt quickly to an ever-changing production set-up. Another great challenge is to make sure knowledge and information is shared throughout the company in order to sustain efficiency in the daily operations.
Strong process engineering
You most likely come with an academic degree in engineering within mechanical, chemical, process or similar. You have a solid experience within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry and good understanding and knowledge within manufacturing and process engineering from working in the industry or as a consultant, where you also have gained strong experience with equipment.
With high ingenuity, creativeness you have the ability to work independently and manage your own projects or parts of larger projects. You are an excellent communicator and your decision making is pragmatic and solution oriented.
