Everfuel is the new fuel company in Europe – providing green hydrogen for larger vehicle fleets like buses, trucks and taxies. Everfuel provides the missing link between renewable energy and green transportation as a partner, owner and operator of PtX plants, hydrogen distribution and hydrogen fueling stations.

About the job position
As Process Engineer you will be responsible for Engineering Support to Everfuels Project Managers in relation to design and building of hydrogen fueling stations and electrolyzers. You will also work closely together with the Project Managers from suppliers of the technical equipment and will be responsible for the application engineering and design. You will therefore manage a key position in an environment with highly technical ATEX regulated equipment.

Reporting will be to the COO. Place of work will be Høgild near Herning, Denmark but you should expect up to 30 days of travelling a year for example to the Electrolyzers Plant to be built in Fredericia. Your tasks will include:

  • Support to Project Managers in relation to design and building of hydrogen fueling stations and electrolyzers
  • Engineering in relation to hydrogen fueling stations
  • Design preliminary layouts for fueling stations
  • Detailed design of stations - including drawings
  • Cooperation with suppliers
  • Work with authorities to get approvals
  • Safety reviews and safety design
  • Quantitative risk assessments
  • Quality inspections at building sites
  • Ensure 3rd parties deliveries for operation of sites
  • Software coordination and optimizing for all users
  • Optimizing processes and relevant data knowledge

Requirements
You have a technical educational background most likely an engineer or marine engineer within process, mechanical, chemical, building or other relevant engineering background. Preferably you have some years of experience from a relevant job but the right candidate can also be newly educated.

You are analytical and detailed focused but still able to work in a hectic environment with a lot of interfaces. You are highly productive and focused on getting things done. You have good interpersonal skills and can work both independently and in teams. You are proficient in both written and spoken Danish and English. As a person you are dedicated to your job and you want to make a difference to the world by working in a company that wants to make green transportation possible.

The following are minimum requirements for the position:

  • Relevant technical education
  • Knows the scope of process development
  • Basic thermodynamics knowledge regarding fluids mechanics involving flow, pressure, temperature, cooling parameters
  • Danish and English in writing and orally for professional use
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and technical design/drawing programs

It is an advantage if you have some of the following competences and experiences:

  • Experience from a relevant job within process engineering
  • Experience from industry working with flammable gases under high pressure
  • Experience with mechanical and process design and programs for design
  • Experience with process control mechanisms and instrumentation
  • Experience with hazard studies such as FMEA, Hazop, Lopa
  • German in writing and orally for professional use
