As a Technical Project Manager, you will play a leading role in the development of a medical device throughout all stages of product development. Your responsibilities will include ensuring transparency in decision-making and fostering involvement across the different functional areas.
As part of your primary responsibilities, you will lead the development of an auto-injector including the quality of it. You will set direction, coach and guide the project managers and Line of business to fulfil the project goals and apply corrective actions when necessary.
Other main responsibilities will include: Technical project and platform management (technical counterpart to the Device Project Manager) Internal and external stakeholder management including focusing on communication and cross-functional cooperation Lead the technical development and discussions with mechanical engineers, system engineers, usability engineers and risk management Hold technical accountability to find the right solution and working with team dynamics to provide constructive feedback Ensure consistency within design input, design output, design verification, and design validation Bridge to and align with production on manufacturability and scale Take ownership of and be responsible for the technical file Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you need to have: A bachelor's or master’s degree in engineering and at least 5 years of work experience in project management within medical device development or another regulated industry Fluency in English, both written and spoken Familiarity with standards and regulations such as ISO13485, 11608, and design controls in product development Structured problem-solving techniques for addressing complex issues Management of trade-offs effectively within a development context Communication skills in complex technical issues to upper management and prepare justified recommendations when challenging decisions needs endorsement As an individual, you are analytical, structured, and can demonstrate attention to detail while maintaining an overview of the system you are engineering. You thrive in dynamic and changing environments, fearlessly voice your opinions, and challenge the status quo in our processes. Recognized as a strong team player, you possess excellent interpersonal skills. You bring a 'can-do' spirit, a healthy dose of common sense, and a good sense of humor to your work. The Device Projects department consists of Technical Projects Managers as well as Project Managers. We are part of Novo Nordisk Device Delivery Solutions, which is the organization responsible for the development of device solutions for medical self-treatment within all business areas of Novo Nordisk A/S. In our department, we have a wide range of development projects in different development phases, and you will join a team contributing to projects related to pens and auto-injectors.
Our main job is to ensure progression of the overall Novo Nordisk development pipeline contributing with the delivery technology and with aim to help even more people living with chronic diseases. and their healthcare professionals through new technologies.
