Stibo Systems is looking for a Product Owner (PO) / Technical Product Manager (TPM) for our Product Delivery organization. The role will take an active part in our Product Development process focused on our Customer Master Data Management solution as a link between the business and the R&D team.

Our Team

You will be part of the Product Management team in our Customer MDM Product Line. Here you will find yourself part of an engaged and experienced team, where you will be working alongside fellow Product Owners as well as Product Managers. All of your colleagues are as dedicated and committed as you in the delivery of value to our customers around the globe. The team is responsible for translating market problems and our strategy into product roadmap and solutions, using Pragmatic Marketing and Scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe).

The Product Owner Role

The main objective is to ensure we build the right solution to the market problem. To do this, the Product Owner understands specific market problems identified by the Product Manager and translates those market requirements into a solution. The Product Owner owns the internal process to design and develop a solution to the market problem in close collaboration with UX, R&D, Solution Architects, Product Managers, as well as, customers and key stakeholders. In this role you will have the opportunity to strongly influence the design and quality of our software in cooperation with Product Management and R&D.

The Product Owner ensures that we build solutions to the identified market problems. This includes translating requirements into specifications, using personas, user journeys and use cases. They act as a key stakeholder during the research and design process and own the solution design that the business develops.  

More specifically, you will:

  • Own, manage and maintain the development backlog for the team, translating requirements into Epics and work with the team to create corresponding stories
  • Ensure that the problem and business objectives presented by the Product Manager are understood, and that the requirements are translated into specifications
  • Ensure that the team, and especially the Solution Architect and UX understands the problem when going into solution design
  • Writing analysis and solution design documents in collaboration with Solution Architect and UX designers
  • Preparation and Participation in SAFe PI Planning, PI demos and other aspects of SAFe
  • Define a scope which ensures the business objective and requirements are met, and delivers a solution supporting our strategy
  • Validate the solution with customers and key stakeholders
  • Take full accountability for delivering agreed-upon business results & customer value

The Ideal Candidate’s Qualifications

You have a willingness to empower as well as inspire commitment and positive attitude in the team. You have excellent business sense; i.e. thinking in terms of users using the software to solve business problems. You also possess strong analytical skills to think through complicated designs.

Moreover, you have:

  • 3+ years of experience working as a Product Owner / Technical Product Manager
  • Experience from a similar role at a software company or with software related projects
  • Sufficient technical background to understand technical capabilities and limitations
  • Experience with complex software systems
  • Experience with agile development, preferably SAFe
  • Experience working with enterprise applications such as CRM, ERP, CDP, eCommerce
  • Understanding of customer data, data quality and master data management (MDM)
