ALK continue to grow and an integrated part of this is our focus on increasing and improving the utilisation of SAP, which can lead to higher efficiency, more control, and better data extraction for reports. This is where the SAP support team plays an important role. Now we are looking for a colleague who understands logistic and production processes and can support these by defining SAP solutions.
The position
You will join a small team of SAP Process Specialists who supports both daily operational and business processes and participate in cross functional projects to optimize and expand our business. We work in a GMP regulated environment where all changes to SAP are documented. Furthermore, we are also responsible for the general SAP training programs and for training of SAP superusers in the operational areas and QA.
As SAP Process Specialist you will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation, covering e.g., logistics, production, and quality areas to understand their processes and subsequently translate this into how SAP can be set up to support the desired process the most optimal way. You will define new SAP processes and functionalities to increase quality, overview, and efficiency of our current and new operational processes. You will as a skilled SAP user by managing a range of SAP modules (e.g., MM, PP, QM) that supports the whole operational area. You will act as interface between the operational areas and IT to explain in simple terms how processes and technical solutions are linked. Furthermore, you will get a broad insight into costs and value streams of our business processes, as these are reflected in SAP.
You will have a variety of responsibilities and tasks, and very often no two days are alike. Some of the exciting tasks you will be handling are:
You will be working with various stakeholders across the organisation at our site in Hørsholm, as well as with colleagues in Spain, US, France, and Poland all working with SAP. The tasks will vary from back-office SAP tasks to more out-going tasks where new SAP solutions/setups and troubleshooting will be done together with internal customers. You will act as interface between the operational areas and IT and explain in simple terms how processes and technical situations/solutions are linked to make the two different “worlds” understand each other.

- Support your colleagues in Logistics, Production, Quality Control, etc. with troubleshooting to fix urgent SAP issues.
- Support minor to major projects with SAP knowledge and solutions.
- Define and ensure implementation of improved SAP master data and functionality setup to optimize ALK’s business.
- Request and test new SAP functionalities.
- Ensure the validated state of SAP operational transactions.
- Establish, support, and perform training related to SAP.
- Update and establish required documentation.
You will be working with various stakeholders across the organisation at our site in Hørsholm, as well as with colleagues in Spain, US, France, and Poland all working with SAP. The tasks will vary from back-office SAP tasks to more out-going tasks where new SAP solutions/setups and troubleshooting will be done together with internal customers. Your profile
You have a technical education within engineering, supply chain, science or similar supplemented with:
- Interest and flair for working with IT systems.
- Good collaboration and communication skills and understand the role of being in a support function.
- Fluency in spoken and written Danish and English.
It is an advantage if you have:
- A few years of experience within logistics, supply chain, or planning (MRP setup) in SAP or similar systems.
- Knowledge with and experience from logistics, supply chain or production in a regulated environment (e.g., pharmaceutical or food/beverages), including change control cases.
- Project experience from handling small to medium complex projects or from participation in projects.
