Studiejob - København Ø
Do you want to become our new student(s) in our in-house strategy and consulting team?
The Strategy & Consulting team (S&C) in DFDS supports the Executive Management and our business areas with consultancy services on various and very diverse strategic projects throughout the company. Today, the S&C team consists of 11 employees with the majority being experienced hires from BCG, McKinsey and QVARTZ. The many years of experience from top-tier management consulting will ensure a steep learning curve. As a Junior Project Manager, you will be working alongside our Project- and Senior Project Managers, but due to the relatively small size of the team, you will have a high degree of responsibility and exposure to the Executive Management from the very onset of your tenure. In the team we enjoy spending time together and regularly arrange off-sites, dinners and other social events.
All projects are of high strategic importance to DFDS and include various topics like strategy, top-line growth, commercial due diligence, integration, turnaround, operational efficiency improvements, process optimizations, environmental impacts and change management. As such, the projects offer the possibility to explore the whole value chain within DFDS.
What we offer
As a Junior Project Manager (student position), you will work alongside more experienced colleagues on consulting projects. When possible, we aim at placing you on end-to-end projects, meaning that you often will take part in the project from beginning to end. Once you graduate and have obtained satisfying evaluations through your work on the team, we aim at welcoming you full time if you wish to continue your career at DFDS.
The job is based in DFDS’ Headquarters in Copenhagen and you are expected to work 15-20 hours a week with flexibility from both sides. The role reports to Filip Hermann, Vice President, Strategy & Consulting.
