You will join our Process department

As our new Lead Process Engineer you will be part of a team of dedicated Process Engineers based both in Esbjerg and Copenhagen, primarily focused on off- and onshore hydrocarbon treatment plants, with ambitions to expand further into Power-to-X and hydrogen technologies. Ramboll Energy is engaged in the ongoing transition of the energy market working in both conventional oil and gas as well as waste to energy technologies.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Act as discipline lead in multidisciplinary projects at all levels from concept to detail design
  • Establish Process Design Philosophies in relation to studies and detail design projects
  • Develop Process & Utility Flow Diagrams
  • Develop P&ID’s
  • Generate process simulations with the team
  • Input on equipment specifications and data sheets
  • Specialist studies to define feasible and suitable solutions or concepts for various process plants, e.g. debottlenecking studies
  • Coaching and mentoring of younger colleagues

Your starting point for constant growth

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience from off- or onshore oil and gas/hydrocarbon industry or PTX/hydrogen industry
  • Background with relevant engineering education, e.g. MSc. in Chemical Engineering or similar
  • Experience as discipline lead on larger multidiscipline projects
  • Flexibility in work tasks – able and willing to generate deliverables if and when required
  • Excellent communications skills as you will be working closely together with clients and colleagues
