Project Management of the future
In the Hardware group 120 engineers are responsible for developing the hearing solutions within the fields of Electronics, Mechanics and Electro-Acoustics. Our responsibility for design begins at the very early concept to ramping up in mass production and we interact with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. In the Long Term Concept-group we drive concept projects that have a time to market of +5 years. The concept projects are creating the foundation for the future platform development of hearing instruments.

As Project Manager in the Long Term Concept-group, you will be part of the Hardware Framework team consisting of Architects, Project Managers, Compliance Manager, Requirement and Test Manager and Product Data Management team. You will be reporting to the Conceptual Design Manager and your main focus will be project managing several projects across R&D. In the job as Long Term Concepting Project Manager, you will have direct influence on our future products, driving projects that by nature have a high degree of uncertainty and many unknown factors.

Your tasks
You will be responsible for the project management of several projects working closely with colleagues in Electronics, Electro-Acoustics and Mechanics.

Your main responsibilities include the following:

  • Project Management
    • Several projects in parallel
    • 3 to 12 months timeframe
    • 1 to 6 participants

  • Cross functional stakeholder management
  • Securing overview on ongoing and upcoming concept projects
  • Participating in the decisions on which concepts to run

The job offers a variety of tasks and gives you the possibility to develop your skills further within hardware development and project management.

Qualifications
We expect you to hold a relevant engineering degree, experience as an Electronics, Electro-Acoustics or Mechanics Developer and at least 3 years of solid project management experience – preferably from a company within business areas such as medical devices, consumer electronics or similar.

Your people skills are well developed. You are being described as emphatic, open and honest. You know what it takes to win people over for your cause and make them follow you. You are a strong communicator as you will work together with internal stakeholders across the organization and negotiate with external partners. You are a true motivator and inspire others.

You are structured and you have experience from working in an environment where quality is on top of the agenda. You possess strong leadership skills and have a holistic approach and overview. You navigate uncertainty, loose frames and changes calmly and keep your head cool all the while being able to set direction for the project and propose direction for the upper management. You have a good commercial understanding and knowledge within medical device regulations (21CFR, 13485). You are skilled in project management tools like Microsoft Project and JIRA.

You are fluent in English, both written and spoken as it is our company language and you are able to travel up to 15 days per year.
