Blades Blade Launch & Execution Global Training & Knowledge Transfer
Blade Launch & Execution is accountable of taking the product from development to implementation in the factories. In Global Training & Knowledge Transfer, we are responsible for the training and support to the manufacturers of Blades. There is an increasing need for new products and launch of these.
We are soon to have this new organisation in place in which we need a direct manager for, to secure ramp up of new blade products.

Responsibilities
You will be the manager of three teams, each consisting of up to 15 manufacturing trainers (40-45 in total), ensuring collaboration to secure flawless and efficient tech transfer.

  • Overall capacity responsible for the Blade Launch Team (BLT)
  • Make sure that your team members are always onboarded, trained and ready to travel (incl. travel management)
  • Secure that prerequisites are in place before each tech transfer
  • Receive customer feedback about team performance
  • Responsible for the team's compliance with site legal/regulatory requirements and adherence to Vestas quality & safety standards.
  • Secure workforce planning and training in accordance with team commitments.

Your main colleagues to liaise with, will be the organisational manager (who you report to), a training specialist and training leads to ensure smooth operational transitions.

Qualifications
You will have relevant experience in management and preferable an educational background within leadership. You are proficient in English verbally and in writing. Furthermore, the desired qualifications are:

  • Managerial experience 5+ years, preferably from a global team
  • Vestas experience 5+ years and blades experience
  • Vestas product knowledge
  • Knowledge about project management
  • Knowledge about time management
  • Knowledge about risk assessments

  • It is essential, that you are a team player and value close collaboration with various stakeholders – building strong relationships which ensure fast execution

Additional information
Primary work location could be Lem, Denmark but could also be allocated in other part of the world. The position requires approx. 90-120 days of travel activity.
