JOIN OUR MARINE DEPARTMENT IN LYNGBY
The Marine and Foundation Engineering department consists of more than 90 dedicated colleagues largely based in Denmark and working on projects around the world. You will join a team with world leading experience in marine and port structures, oil and gas terminals, coastal protection, land reclamation, ground treatment and geotechnical engineering. Our services span the entire lifecycle of a project, from site and feasibility studies to design and construction engineering, operation, management and decommissioning. Since the 1970’s, we have been involved in more than 3,300 marine projects worldwide - from local coastal protection initiatives to major shipping terminals and artificial islands.
A UNIQUE AND WIDE-RANGING POSITION WITHIN A TEAM OF EXPERTS
In the position as Project Manager Assistant, you will join our global team of experts and work closely with project managers and specialists. You will be responsible for smaller projects as PM and act as PM assistant in larger projects. In addition to this you will contribute to, and share responsibility for, quality management throughout our projects. Equally important, you have the drive and desire to work with the implementation of sustainability in our projects.

In the role as PM assistant in larger project, on day-to-day basis you will be responsible for:
- Proactively supporting the Project Manager in relation to Schedule, Risks, Document control and Contract Management
- Setting up and managing document controlling
- Creating and managing the time schedule in close dialogue with the PM
- Setting up system for variation management and maintain throughout the project
- Setting up system for risk management and maintain throughout the project
In the role as PM in smaller projects, on day-to-day basis you will:
- Run projects in our financial system, working in close cooperation with the technical lead
- Manage all the required PM and QM activities
In the role as QM, on day-to-day basis you will:
- Monitor that we adhere to and use our quality management system as intended
- Engage Bid Managers and PM's to ensure that quality management is adequately considered
- Act as liaison between our department and Group Quality Management, remain up-to date on new quality procedures
- Collaborate closely with portfolio managers in our "go-to network" for project delivery
- Support the implementation of our project delivery model

We imagine that our next Project Manager Assistant reflects the following:
- A degree in civil engineering, or a degree related to civil engineering
- Experience as a Project Manager
- Abilities to identify commercial risks in contract negotiation is an advantage, but not a requirement
- Experience in maintaining a risk log is an advantage, but not a requirement
- Danish is an advantage but not a requirement
