The position
As Senior Programme Scheduler, you will become part of our Programme Office team. The Programme Office is responsible for all aspects of project control such as cost, risk, scope, and scheduling. This position allows you to challenge yourself and join the team at a critical phase-shift from design into execution. The main responsibilities are to: Continuously develop and maintain the scheduling processes, procedures, and tools by implementing and coordinating them across the global programme Develop a good collaboration with the different projects and sites in the programme and maintain good relationships with them to continuously guide, direct and support them Maintain a broad network in the programme organisation and with engineering partners across the globe To be the single point of contact regarding scheduling for the portfolio projects both current and future ranging from active schedule development and maintenance to supporting local schedulers Coordinate programme control efforts with the cost, risk, document, reporting and change control disciplines and take the 360 degrees view on integrating those disciplines in the programme
If you are highly collaborative and have experience working independently and closely with stakeholders around the world, you are a good fit for this position. Through your collaborative work approach, you ensure continuously best practice scheduling processes and tools to support proactive and sound decision making. It is important that you understand to challenge local schedule leads, external partners, and project managers to find the best scheduling set-up in very complex programme. This position requires occasional travel of approximately 30 days per year. Qualifications To be successful in this position, you need to have:
• BA or MA degree within Business Administration, Engineering, or similar subject
• High level of experience and possess extensive documented work experience with scheduling and project planning.
• Experience from large programmes and projects, preferably within pharma and/or establishing new production facilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Be agile, ready to adapt to change, and thrive in a fluid and complex environment. You should be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and remain flexible in a dynamic work environment. In addition to fluent written and spoken English, you should be comfortable communicating complex ideas and collaborating with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and cultures. You should possess excellent interpersonal skills, be an active listener, and be able to build positive relationships across teams and departments. About the department The program controls department is composed by more than 18 highly skilled and experienced colleagues.
