Then this is a unique opportunity to join a major investment program in Novo Nordisk as Senior Manager for Aseptic Process (AP) Engineering. The Position As the Senior Engineering Manager you have the overall responsibility of ensuring the global design for the AP Modules is meeting all programme objectives and standards. It is your task to establish the appropriate engineering execution process with the local sites to ensure the central design and engineering standards are fulfilled to the highest degree possible. The ownership and maintenance of an AP module master design is a key part of the role, which will help ensure faster execution for the template roll out projects. Your main tasks includes:
  • Implementation of programme standards for engineering and design into project execution

  • Defining the appropriate engagement strategy with the local execution organization and local engineering partner

  • Management of central engineering partner contracts (500MDKK/Annum)

  • Responsible for developing and overseeing the implementation of AP Master model

  • Directing and leading the work to set standards for efficient design

  • Implementation and operationalization of procurement strategy for AP Modules

  • Implement and oversee efficient and solid engineering sourcing and procurement practices based on programme strategy

  • Responsible for AP change management process

    • To help you succeed with this you will be building and managing a department which is currently planned to encompass 6 additional internal FTE’s. You will ensure high performing team which is delivering according to plans and developing according to the overall strategies of Fill Finish Expansion (FFEx) and Novo Nordisk. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you have:
  • Well versed in contracting strategies and implications of these (EPCM, Design Build etc)

  • Significant experience of project management or execution experience

  • Successfully led larger and complex global GxP investment projects or programmes within construction

  • 5 year experience as direct people manager

  • You have a good grasp of Aseptic manufacturing processes and the engineering aspects required to support these

    • You have experience leading engineering work at several projects or programmes of large-scale facilities through the lifecycle from Conceptual Brief to handover and managing complex projects with a wide range of internal- and external stakeholders. You set up clear goals and purpose for the area and the project team members so that the project secures effective use of time and resources and builds employee motivation. You have demonstrated that you can execute projects in a complex international environment. As a person you are an effective communicator. You have developed and lead high performing teams and have the ability and experience to motivate highly skilled professionals and experts. You are exceptionally good at creating good stakeholder relations About the Department You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approximately 25,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 55,000 employees. Fill & Finish Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and build all major fill & finish expansion projects across PSQIT to serve the needs of millions of patients.
