Due to an increasing demand for our innovative and smart system solutions, we are looking for two Customer Project Managers.
You become a part of the Solution and Service Delivery function with a team of experienced project managers with backgrounds in technology and finances. The Project Management team is part of Kamstrup’s international group of approx. 20 customer project managers across the business areas. You will work cross-functionally and particularly close with the Engineering team that is also part of the department and that consists of competent engineering and IT specialists. As a Customer Project Manager, you get an independent role with a broad contact network across large parts of Kamstrup’s organisation.
A job with focus on implementing international customer projects
In the position as Customer Project Manager, you will be responsible for implementing customer projects according to Kamstrup’s project model for system deliveries and we expect that you follow this as well as participate actively in our continuous improvement projects that aim to improve and increase efficiency and productivity as well as ensure high customer satisfaction. You will manage customer system deliveries within our heat/cooling, water and electricity business and be responsible for the customer contact throughout a project period that typically lasts 1-3 years.
More specifically, you will be responsible for:
In addition, you will carry out the monthly follow-up and reporting. Be responsible for project status meetings internally as well as externally with customers.
You will expectedly have around 30 travelling days a year – mainly in Denmark.
As we also support project execution to our customers, our project offices and partners globally, depending on projects and your interest, you could also be a part of international projects. Kamstrup being a company with a very strong virtual mindset, you will also handle these projects mainly from your Danish office.
Personality matters
We are seeking a person with great drive and the ability to professionally represent Kamstrup. You have a higher education as an engineer or other technical education that has possibly been supplemented with studies in economy. Furthermore, you must have 3-5 years of documented experience with project management as well as experience from large customer projects. Moreover, if you have a certified project manager education such as IPMA or PRINCE2, this will be an asset.
You are outgoing, structured and good at seeing the big picture. As you will get a great contact network, it is also crucial that you master to create cross-functional relations and thrive in an outgoing role, which is why you are excellent in communicating at all levels internally in the organisation and externally with customers and cooperation partners. You always meet the customers with a smile, but are not afraid of entering into a constructive discussion and are able to come to the point if necessary.
The job requires fluency in written and spoken Danish and English. German will be considered an advantage. In addition, you must have a valid driving licence.
