Digital Business Project Manager

We are looking for a Digital Business Project Manager who can understand the needs of the business and translate them into new digital solutions.

Joining team IT Projects & Portfolio management

You will join our team IT Projects & Portfolio Management. We are responsible for driving cross-functional projects across IT and the business, and for developing portfolio framework, governance and project excellence. We are a small team of four project managers, and you will be a part of a community of practice with 20+ skilled projects managers. In the job you will also work together with architects, application consultants, developers and business people.

Take on the role as Digital Business Project Manager

You will be managing and driving key digital cross-functional projects. Some projects will be centered around core IT solutions like infrastructure and platforms, and other projects will be customer focused digital solutions. All projects support our overall digital ambition.

In this role you will:

 Mature and shape digital solutions and products to support business objectives and desired results
 Develop project plans and manage execution
 Establish strong collaboration with the business and the IT organization.
 Engage stakeholders, facilitate workshops, communicate plans and drive progress to achieve the objectives.

Team Membership:

 Support the development and implementation of lean portfolio management in an evolving agile environment.
 Contribute to developing, collecting, and analyzing portfolio insights.
 Facilitate our Community of Practice for project managers across IT
 Lead by example and support self-organization within the team.
 Strong commitment and encouragement for the success of team IT Projects & Portfolio management and our journey towards maturing agile practices.

Your profile

Having technical skills is a must, but to succeed in this role we are looking for candidates who also have excellent people and stakeholder management skills. The ideal candidate has interest for the newest technology and is a person who succeeds by asking the right questions.

We are on a mission to establish a more agile mindset in our IT organisation. It is therefore essential that you have an intrinsic motivation when it comes to working with agile project management tools. If you have worked with Scaled Agile Framework and Lean Portfolio Management, we would love to hear from you.

It´s important that you have a certification in project management and that you have 2+ years of project management experience from a global IT enterprise environment. Perhaps you have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in the field of IT. Could be Cand. Merc (IT) or similar. Having said that, you could also find yourself currently working in a position on the business side but with an interest in joining IT.

You are a strong and engaging communicator – verbally and in writing – and you work closely with people on all levels of the organization. You have a strong business acumen and can work across business and technology in multiple countries.
