Global Finance Project Manager
Demant is looking for a talented “Global Finance Project Manager” with an interest in finance processes, accountancy, financial compliance, Finance IT applications, and project management to help drive global finance projects to support our local entities in delivering high quality finance functions.
The Team
Finance Processes and Projects is part of the Demant global finance organisation and covers employees in both Denmark and Poland. The department currently consists of eleven employees. At this point in time, seven employees are located in Szczecin, Poland and the other employees are in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The primary objective of the Finance process and projects department is to establish and enforce quality, efficiency, and transparency in the finance processes within the Demant Group. To achieve this, you will together with colleagues in both Denmark and Poland focus on the following areas:
• Monitor and support finance processes in our global finance applications
• Support local entities with special projects to help them improve their finance function and processes
• Create and maintain global finance documentation
• Design and implement improvements to existing processes globally
• Organize training for finance users all over the world (online and onsite)
• Act as expert on various parts of Finance processes
The ideal candidate understands the complexity between financial compliance and business needs and work proactively and independently to find the right solution. Candidates with an interest in future leadership roles will be preferred.

What is the job about?
Demant is embarking on a journey of implementing a new global financial compliance framework and purchase order functionality while continuing our roll out of standardised ERP, T&E and invoice processing systems. To strengthen this effort, we are looking for an employee to work closely with our local entities to support them in being part of this journey and developing best in class local finance functions.
Your responsibility will be to help drive this change, and to ensure a dedicated effort in project managing the different projects arising across entities in different countries.
Due to the projects running in different countries, and the international character of the team, up to 60 yearly travel days should be expected. You will report directly to the Director of Finance Processes and Projects in Copenhagen.
Who are we looking for?
• Experience with international project management and stakeholder management in a matrix structure
• Experience with finance process optimisation
• Degree in finance or accounting, and with some interest in or experience with IT
• Experience with AX an advantage, and experience with Concur and PO processes preferred
• Experienced user of MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint)
