Introduction of new products every 6 months
The Project Managers in Manufacturing Readiness (MRPM) within the Service & Custom team are part of a Demant Global Operations function dedicated to the areas of In-the-Ear hearing aids and service concepts, working with new product introduction.

In our team, we are responsible that the In-The-Ear Hearing Instruments are ready for manufacturing at hubs and sister companies around the world. We introduce new products in our supply chain every 6 months. Furthermore, we are responsible for the service concept for all the new Hearing Instruments. You will be part of a strong team with trainers, documentation specialists, skilled operators and product and process specialists - all ready to support you in your daily work.

As a product release delivery, the team provides training, documentation, and software, which you as project manager is responsible for. We work according to the regulatory requirements of ISO13485/FDA 21 CFR Part 820/MDSAP-regulations where you as project manager also need to make sure that we are compliant when we reach the manufacturing stage.

Managing complex technical projects
Does it motivate you to manage complex technical projects, ensuring that the products are ready for manufacturing and on time for launch. Our environment is based on trust which allow you to structure your workflow with a high level of freedom. The upstream stakeholders are among others R&D Hardware Development, IT and Master Data and the downstream stakeholders being distribution, hubs, and sister companies. You have a wide interface into our organization which is why you should feel at ease with working with many stakeholders across Marketing, R&D and Operations.

As your stakeholders are spread globally, a certain amount of travelling (10-20 days/year) is necessary.
 
Project manager – structured and systematic
You bring a solid project management toolbox which enables you to set a clear direction, achieving your results by leading and motivating others. The projects you have led in the past have been cross-functional, working with R&D functions such as hardware, software, electro-acoustical or mechanical development. Your approach is constructive, structured, and systematic, and you make an impact through clear communication.

As project manager you are proud to deliver on time. In other words, you have full responsibility of ensuring that our products are ready for manufacturing. You have a hands-on approach meaning that you like being involved in both the technical solutions and the processes required to ensure success. You are cable of handling uncertainties and from time-to-time situations under pressure. We provide a dynamic working environment where adapting to new situations is vital. You are likely to hold a bachelor or master’s degree in engineering or similar relevant background.

We expect you to and 3-5 years technical project management experience. Demant is a world-leading hearing healthcare group, and we play a vital part in developing innovative hearing solutions. We are a medical device company, and if you have been working in an equivalent regulated industry this helps you to enter our world. This is not considered a requirement but is meriting. If you should have a PMI certification, we will consider this a plus.
