Do you want to move the standard for how an app can empower hearing aid users? Do you want to ensure the latest connectivity technologies are utilized with the best user experience in mind? If this sounds like you, then you could be our new Business Owner for apps and connectivity in the New Business Introduction (NBI) team at Demant.

The team is part of Global Marketing and ensures and facilitates new innovative product launches to empower our hearing aid brands: Oticon, Philips Hearing Solutions, Bernafon and Sonic Innovation.

Understand the business and prioritise.
As Business Owner in our SAFe framework (Scaled Agile Framework), your role is to ensure and prioritise that the solutions we bring to market within the app and connectivity space meets the market needs and the Brand Portfolio Strategy.

You will get a significant role in the developing of our app. One of the things that makes it so interesting, is that our app must be user friendly and engaging for the 18-year-old user as well as the 80-year-old and finding that balance is both challenging and extremely motivating.” says your new manager, Project Director, New Business Introduction, Nikolaj Takla

You get your knowledge by close collaboration with the brands, portfolio team, market insights team, customers, users, and your own experience. This means you have many stakeholders and sources of information that contributes to you collected knowledge.

You will be our subject matter expert. Your colleagues will come to you for your expertise during decision-making processes, project planning, problem-solving and strategy development. You will be sure to see your fingerprint on the finished product.” says Nikolaj

The Business Owner works in a SAFe set-up which is a structured development framework.

Your key tasks are:

  • Participate in SAFe as Business Owner and drive our product releases of apps and solutions within connectivity.
  • Ensure priorities are linked to Brand Portfolio Strategy and Brand experiences.
  • Balance commercial needs and future business value with technical requirements.
  • Inspire and motivate development teams to always have ease of doing business for customers and users experience in mind.
  • Take the lead and ownership of understanding and analysing the commercial needs across all brands.

You should expect approx. 10 days of travel yearly.

We are a small team of 3, and we are a part of New Business Introduction, who we share office space with. Overall, we are a part of Global Marketing with more than 175 colleagues, where you will work in a matrix set-up across the entire development value chain. We are in the heart of the organization with full exposure to almost all functions and with a possibility to build a strong network.

Your educational background is not important, we are more interested in what you have worked with and have accomplished.

You are a committed person with a passion for understanding user engagement via apps. Your commercial mindset, user engagement with apps, and technical understanding are more important, and that you are keen on working in a SAFe framework and with many stakeholders.
