Junior Project Manager - Netherlands

European Energy is a Danish privately owned company in rapid growth. We cover all phases of wind and photovoltaic (PV) solar projects, from greenfield development to construction, operation, and divestment of assets. Our company of more than 300 employees has since 2004 installed more than 2 GW of renewable energy. We operate globally and employ 27 different nationalities. Our mission is to be a significant force in the global transition to a society free of fossil energy.
You will be part of our Project Department, which handles the development of our projects globally. As our new Junior Project Manager, you will work from our office in Søborg with European Energy’s growing business in the Netherlands. You will see yourself in an environment with a big variation of tasks – ranging from hands-on administrative tasks to more strategic commercial and technical project and stakeholder management related tasks.
In cooperation with your highly experienced and motivated commercial, legal and technical colleagues, you will contribute with the establishment of our Dutch branch and the development of our wind and PV development projects, which will give you the opportunity to quickly become familiar with technical as well as financial and administrative details of our renewable energy assets and contribute to manage internal and external workstreams.
While this position is meant as a part-time job next to your studies, it offers the opportunity for a following full-time employment after your graduation either at our HQ in Søborg or in the Netherlands.

Areas of responsibility:
- Support with the development of existing projects (wind/solar)
- Support with the identification of new projects
- Ad hoc commercial and technical analyses
- General market & new technologies potential research (e.g. Power-to-X)
- Administrative tasks related to our Dutch branch
- Local stakeholder management
Professional skills we expect from you :
- You are currently studying a bachelor or master at university level or an equivalent institution within engineering, sustainability, economics, finance or similar preferable with at least 1 year left before graduation.
- You have technical and commercial understanding
- You master Dutch and English
- You are an expert user in MS Office
- Knowledge of the renewable energy industry, primarily in wind and solar technologies is an advantage
