Project Manager, EPC Development

European Energy is an international company in rapid growth. We cover the entire value chain within wind and solar (PV) projects, from greenfield development to construction, operation, and divestment of assets. Our company of 360 employees handles a pipeline of more than 15.0 GW of renewable energy in various project stages. We operate globally and employ 30 different nationalities at our HQ in Copenhagen and our offices in Sweden, the UK, Germany, Poland, Italy, Lithuania, and Spain. Our mission is to be a significant name in the global transition to a fossil-free society.
As our new Project Manager, you will work from our HQ in Copenhagen, heading EPC development of onshore PV and wind projects in new markets globally. You will be working with many internal and external stakeholders and coordinate and handle the different market development activities within engineering, procurement, and construction. Further, when projects materialize you will be responsible for the construction including QHSE, contractual management and the general compliance of the projects. An important part of this position also entails applying any lesson learned and continuously optimizing and streamlining our project management and market development processes.
You will see yourself in an environment with a big variation of interesting tasks. You have solid interpersonal skills to negotiate with local suppliers, service providers and communicate with stakeholders such as subcontractors, banks, etc.
We seek a result-oriented colleague with an eye on the detail. You are friendly and outgoing and thrive motivating your project stakeholders to deliver great results. You are curious and have a solid project management background where you lean upon experience and already proven processes. It is important that you have good structural skills, as you will be working in a high paced and multidisciplinary environment with complex projects.

Professional skills we expect from you
- You have at least 4 years of experience and a proven history within project management from a similar role with large scale projects
- You have experience with developing projects from early stage including finding collaboration partners
- You have a technical and commercial understanding
- Knowledge of the renewable energy industry, primarily in PV is an advantage
- You are an expert user in MS Office
- You have completed a bachelor or master’s degree at university level or an equivalent institution within engineering, business administration or similar
- You have a project management education or certification
- You are fully proficient in English at a professional level
