Associate Director to drive the Novo Nordisk Victoza® LoE

About the department
We are an international team of diverse and passionate brand and project managers who are responsible for growing the largest brand in Novo Nordisk in emerging markets and for preparing for the LoE. We monitor and analyze the competitive situation to be at the forefront of the competitive developments. We craft global brand strategies and innovative tactics that are implemented across the globe and we work closely together with regions, affiliates and cross-functional stakeholders.
The position
As our new Associate Director, your primary role will be to lead the development and implementation of a strong Victoza® LoE strategy and an internal framework for preparing for and managing LoE. You will work closely together with colleagues from across the value chain. You are able to identify new opportunities for driving growth based on a solid understanding of market dynamics and are able to back these up through high-quality business cases. You will keep a close eye on the competitive situation and make plans for different future scenarios. Finally, you will be a strategic sparring partner to our key markets and regions collaborating closely to ensure co-creation and strong execution of strategies and projects.
Qualification
You hold a Master’s degree within business, economics, natural sciences or similar, and you have a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience working with marketing and/or commercial strategy development at both a global, local or affiliate level within the pharmaceutical industry. Experience with generics and biosimilars is an advantage.
As a person, you have strong interpersonal skills, and you succeed in engaging with and influencing stakeholders at all levels. You bring a good attitude to work even when pressure is on, and you can manage multiple work streams in parallel. You enjoy working independently and can combine your strong commercial and strategic mindset with your outstanding stakeholder management skills to drive the success of the brand. Your communication skills in both oral and written English are strong.
