An experienced Clinical Project Lead role within the Obesity disease area. Responsible for overseeing highly critical and big scale global clinical trials end-to-end. Your role is supported by strong experts within all stages of the trials, and you get to excel in a lead role, where you support the development of products that can make a true difference for people with diseases across the world.

You will work in Clinical Operations that is part of Clinical Drug Development for Obesity & NASH. In the role, you will have more than 60 colleagues in various roles that are executing clinical trials through phases 1-3 in more than 50 countries and across 4.300 sites. The pipeline is extensive and exciting, and Novo Nordisk manages all part of the clinical trials.
The Role
As Clinical Project Lead, you will take a lead project role, where you will manage up to 3 global clinical trials at a time. You will assume end-to-end accountability for the trials (planning, execution, and completion) and will ensure that they are executed according to scope, budgets, and timeline.
You will continuously drive trials forward while ensuring that all cross-functional stakeholders communicate, coordinate, and cooperate according to plan. Towards the stakeholders, you will maintain an open, clear communication about goals and progress in the Trial Squads (study groups). You will plan effectively and will have the innate ability to provide effective leadership, while respectfully motivating others, delegating tasks and driving people forward.

The role is based in Denmark, and with a global scope. Therefore, it is important that you are comfortable building relationships across borders with colleagues from different cultures. - In-depth knowledge about clinical trial methodology, and with personal views about how to best execute trials. In short, you are strong in project management.
- Nurse or M.Sc. in Natural Science with solid experience from executing and project managing global clinical trials, where you have been the lead.
- Experience from working in an HQ environment and from a global perspective.
- Knowledge of clinical IT systems.
- Fluent in English.
