Your new role
DISA is looking for an experienced Project Manager to act as a lead on executing capital projects within the moulding industry. As a Project Manager, you will join the project management department and have full responsibility and ownership over your own project portfolio which will mainly cover traditional capital projects. You’re responsible for planning and execution of the projects, ensuring customer satisfaction, profitability, competitiveness, and efficiency of the project execution process. The project execution process includes contract management, ensuring internal alignment and communication between departments, managing and monitoring operational budgets and project milestones, risk management, and coordination and communication internally and with customers.
You will work together with your colleagues to continually develop and improve the order execution process. As the Project Manager, you will communicate the project status to senior management and report directly to the VP of Project Management. Travel activity is expected to be about 40 days a year.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this position, one will have a bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, or similar. You have a proven project management track record with a demonstrated ability to develop and implement project execution plans in an international context. The ideal candidate has led industrial projects and has a proven track record of successfully delivering projects according to the agreed KPI’s. Ideally, you have 5 plus years of experience leading large-scale projects and key account management in an international context. You have experience with lean thinking and principles.
The ideal candidate has solid experience with management of projects within mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and PLC technology. It would also be beneficial to have knowledge within Industry 4.0, data networks, data collection. It would also be beneficial to have knowledge of contract frameworks such as Orgalime and FIDIC and a project management certification such as PMI, IPMA, PRINCE2. You speak English fluently and preferably a second language.
It is expected that you have strong communication and negotiation skills. You are driven and resilient and have a creative approach to problem solving. You have the ability to challenge and effectively change current practices and ways of operational thinking. It is also expected that this person can work across the business at all levels as well as with customers and external stakeholders. You’re result-oriented and a self-starter who sets high personal goals and pursues them with tenacity.
