Your new role
DISA is looking for an experienced Project Manager to act as a lead on executing and deploying a global portfolio of digital solutions within the moulding industry. As a Project Manager you will have the full responsibility and ownership over your own project portfolio which will mainly consist of digital projects but will also cover a limited number of traditional capital projects.
As a Project Manager, you are responsible for planning and executing projects, ensuring customer satisfaction, profitability, competitiveness, and efficiency of the project execution process. The project execution process includes contract management, ensuring internal alignment and communication between departments, managing and monitoring operational budgets and project milestones, risk management, and coordination and communication internally and with customers. You will report directly to the VP of Project Management, Projects, Service & Shipping.
You will work together with your colleagues to continually develop and improve the order execution process. You will act as a key competence specialist for digital products and technologies within project management. You will work across the organization as well as with customers. Travel activity is expected to be about 40 days a year. The position is in DISA’s headquarters in Taastrup, Denmark.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this position, you need a minimum level of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent within IT, engineering, or similar. You have a proven project management track record with a demonstrated ability to develop and implement project execution plans in an international context. You have experience managing large-scale projects and key account management on an international level. The ideal candidate has extensive experience leading digitalization projects, a solid understanding of data networks, how to extract data and software adaptors, query scripting, data protocols, data collection and data validation.
You are familiar with Artificial Intelligence and Industry 4.x. and have a proven track record of successfully delivering projects according to the agreed KPI’s. Ideally, you have 5 plus years of experience leading large-scale projects in an international context and experience with lean thinking and principles.
It is expected that you have strong communication and negotiation skills. You are driven and resilient and have a creative approach to problem solving. You have the ability to challenge and effectively change current practices and ways of operational thinking. It is also expected that this person can work across the business at all levels as well as with customers and external stakeholders. You’re result-oriented and a self-starter who sets high personal goals and pursues them with tenacity.
