About the role
In this role you will be driving the IoT Platform rollout across all regions and connecting sites/equipment to our IoT Cloud platform. You will act as our primary contact for industries and regions towards the platform onboarding and support them with any questions or clarifications from customers/stakeholders.
Among other tasks you will be collaborating with Group Digital stakeholders to create value drivers for connected assets and ensure adherence to the industry standards of safety and security. Furthermore, driving excellence in coordination with the onboarding team with robust business processes and support with standard onboarding kit, checklists, asset data catalogue, data model, communication, etc. is a great part of the role.
About the department
In the Digital Solutions Office, we are building a new digital framework by establishing a cloud infrastructure that can collect data and generate insights about FLSmidth’s plants and equipment throughout the world. This will subsequently enable us to offer valuable new solutions to our customers – such as asset condition monitoring, predictive maintenance and performance insights.

About the department

This will subsequently enable us to offer valuable new solutions to our customers – such as asset condition monitoring, predictive maintenance and performance insights.
You will be:
- Driving the rollout of connected assets to our cloud platform for our customer plants and assets in coordination with internal and external stakeholders
- Responsible for defining the rollout plan and pipeline in coordination with industry, regional and digital stakeholders.
- Work in close coordination with the onboarding team in Chennai in defining efficient onboarding process, tool kit, framework, etc.,
- Communicating the status of the connected assets, success stories, learnings, across the organization.
Your qualifications:
- You have solid experience in managing rollout projects in industrial environment, working with global team members and stakeholders.
- Experience with digital technologies/industrial 4.0 projects for manufacturing/industrial automation is a great advantage, but not a must.
- Knowledge on industrial Automation, IOT, Cloud, edge processing or similar technologies.
- You have a relevant technical degree – at bachelor level as a minimum.
- You have excellent communication skills in English in both speech and writing.
- It would be a plus, if you have a Prince2 or PMP certification.
