Vestas Finland is growing rapidly and we need more colleagues to the Planning team in Vaasa! Do you have an investigative approach in your daily tasks and likes structure? Then Service Planner with the energy industry’s global partner on sustainable energy solutions might be the job for you.
Vestas Northern and Central Europe is a sales business unit covering Scandinavia, UK, Ireland, Poland, the Baltics, Germany, Benelux as well as Eastern Europe and south of Africa. We are responsible for the Sales function, Project, Installation and Service of wind farms throughout these regions. We strive to be the No. 1 performing business unit within Vestas, and we aim to make Vestas Northern and Central Europe the best place to work.
Responsibilities
- As Service Planner your primary tasks will be:
- Analyze requirements and plan service and other scheduled activities
- Allocate and direct resources for unplanned schedules
- Ensure work orders have been set up for all incoming jobs
- Prioritize open work orders within defined company rules and guidelines
- Ensure effective internal communication of both planned and unplanned activities
- Create a comprehensive weekly package of prepared work orders for each service teams appropriate, make recommendations to make effective use of resources
- In addition you will be joining our teams continuous work of developing the growing Finnish organization, implementing new structures and participating global projects.

- Great planning and organizational skills
- A systematic and investigative approach with attention to detail Motivated to sudden changes with a focus on problem-solving
- An ability to remain calm in a time-sensitive setting and to handle varying workloads
- Proven ability to analyze numerical data and identify trends
- Approachable personality, being attentive but able to stand your ground
- Clear and concise oral and written communication skills
