Do you want to promote a sustainable and liveable future? Are you sharp strategic and energetic person who can bring our media relations and thought leader communication to the next level? Then here is an excellent opportunity to extend your potential
COWI’s public profile is strong, but we have to earn it every day, and we have high ambitions. We want to shape a sustainable and liveable world together with our customers, partners, and colleagues. Our public relations are key to realising this vision.
We offer you an opportunity to join our mission, develop your skills, and work with smart, engaged people in a friendly and ambitious environment.
SHAPE PERCEPTIONS
COWI is a customer-focused international engineering and architectural consultancy firm with 6,500 employees. Our core strengths are within major complex infrastructure, energy, and buildings projects. We operate around the globe with strongholds in Scandinavia and UK.
We believe that creating more sustainable, smart solutions across societies is of paramount importance; solutions that have both people and planet in focus. Fortunately, we share this conviction with most of our customers, partners, and other key stakeholders. However, there is still some way to go.
Together with your team and leader colleagues, we want you to help us get the key facts across; show how COWI can develop and bring the right solutions to life; and protect our name when we are under fire.
ADVISE THE CEO AND DEVELOP STRATEGIES
Our Group CEO is the face of the company and the most prominent spokesperson of COWI. You will have direct access to him and the rest of our Executive Board and together with the Head of Group Communication, you will become his trusted advisor.
In addition, you will spearhead the development of our media and thought leadership strategies across our group, monitor and report on progress, support our local communication teams, and take charge if and when we run into a crisis.
REALISE YOUR POTENTIAL IN A GLOBAL TEAM OF EXPERTS
You will become leader of a small team that handles press, public affairs, thought leadership and external CEO communication both in traditional and on social media.
Your team is part of our global communications team with more than 30 skilled specialists. You will have highly skilled leader colleagues across geographies who are already supporting our agenda. You will join our global Communication Board and report to the global Head of Communications.
In addition, your day-to-day tasks will include:
YOUR SKILLS. OUR TEAM. TOGETHER, WE DESIGN THE FUTURE
To succeed in this position, we believe that you need to be a team player with excellent cooperative skills; a proactive behaviour; the ability to analyse and prioritise, set a clear direction, work and lead in a structured way; able to stay calm under pressure, and have a robust personality.
Furthermore, you should:
