This position is important for Ambu Finance as we continue to invest in our Commercial infrastructure.
As our new Corporate Controller, you will be joining a great team of dedicated and professional colleagues. You will work out of our Headquarters in Ballerup and you will report to the Vice President, Corporate Accounting.
Apply all your accounting, auditing and communication skills through others
As a corporate controller of Ambu’s sales entities in North America you will be point of contact for the regional finance managers on topics ranging from Group GAAP (IFRS), financial reporting, designing of control environment per the Ambu Financial Control Framework, among other things. Further, you will be heavily involved in the internal and external reporting of group accounts to stakeholders.
Your primary responsibilities will be:
Excellent analytical skills and expert in Excel
To succeed in this position, we expect you to have sound analytical skills within financial information. Furthermore, you hold a master’s degree in Business Economics and Auditing (cand.merc.aud.), just as you have 4-5 years of relevant auditor experience, preferably combined with 2-4 years of experience as a financial controller.
Due to the nature of the tasks it is an advantage that you are an outgoing person and that you can work with people from different cultures. As our new Corporate Controller, you are dependable and well structured, just as you are an expert in Excel and deliver high quality in your work. You don’t have all the answers to the challenges you will face, but we expect that you will be eager to learn and grow your capabilities with the company.
Since Ambu is a global company, it is a requirement that you speak English fluently. Some of the systems you will be operating in are in Danish and therefore it is a necessity that you also understand Danish.

- Prepare group internal reporting to management and other stakeholders
- Financial controlling and review of quarterly and annual reporting
- Financial controlling of a portfolio of subsidiaries in accordance with the Ambu financial control framework
- Conduct 1-2 controlling visits a year
- Take part in preparing and ensuring high quality in financial budgets and forecasts
- First line of support to local finance managers on accounting policy, financial compliance and reporting.
- Work on IFRS technical aspects including accounting for M&A
