The controlling department is of essential relevance to provide data insights for steering Silvan through the next growth phase. Therefore, we are looking for a passionate Financial Controller with a strong background and high motivation. The tasks will include supporting the development of our BI setup, conducting analysis, and taking an active part in implementing and acting on opportunities to develop the business. Furthermore, you will act as a finance business partner for all business functions in the organization, including the top management.
To succeed in this role, a very strong analytical and data-driven approach will be essential. Being part of the Controlling team, you will work alongside colleagues with an analytical mindset in a positive and dynamic corporate culture.

Main responsibilities
- Investigate opportunities to optimize the current data management and BI set-up and execute derived measures
- Support selected departments as a finance business partner
- Update and optimize financial and operational reports
- Support our forecasting and budget processes
- Ensure consistent high quality in the reporting
Preferred qualifications
- Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or economics with grades within 20% of class
- Previous experience at big accounting firm within auditing and/or advisory is a plus
- Experience with using Power Query, PowerPivot, VBA, and ideally paired with working experience in the BI-tool Targit
- Excellent analytical skills combined with good presentation and communication skills
- Good understanding of controlling tools, accounting methods, and financial processes
