For our head office in Brøndby, we are looking for a new colleague who wants to be part of an innovative company with good development opportunities. With reference to our Head of Finance & Controlling, you will become an important part of our new Finance team.

As a Controller at DHL Parcel Nordic, you will have a versatile job with responsibilities ranging from coordination of cross-unit financial tasks and processes, including planning and reporting, to the implementation of specialized analyzes and various accounting tasks.

THE CANDIDATE

Your primary responsibilities will be:

• Coordination and preparation of management reports for DHL Parcel Nordic

• Invoice approvals and preparation of booking files to our Shared Service Center in Cologne

• Preparation of Cash Flow, Internal Controls and reconciliations

• Assist our Head of Finance & Controlling in developing, harmonizing and standardizing internal processes in the areas of Controlling, Accounting and Tax

• Identify and implement improvements in Finance. Contribute to the implementation of best practices in the team as well as using our systems.

• Preparation of Audit and support the audit team with material and questions

In addition, you will act as a specialist in relation to inquiries from employees and managers of DHL Parcel Nordic, subsidiaries and our Corporate Accounting Center in Cologne.

As the Controller at DHL Parcel Nordic, you can expect between 5-10 travel days a year.

Analytical and solution-oriented approach

We expect our new Controller to have experience from an international position and have good communication and presentation skills. By using your analytical approach, you will be able to highlight points and conclusions in various reports, making complex data accessible and easily understandable.

As a person, you are ambitious and a team player. You see the value of collaboration across departments and cultures, and you find it natural to be proactive in your everyday life.

We would prefer if you:

• Have a bachelor's or master's degree in Finance / Accounting or equivalent qualifications

• Have at least two years of work experience in Controlling / Finance

• Speaks and writes fluent English as well as a Nordic language

• Have experience with SAP and MS Office, and master Excel at a high level

• Have knowledge of the Danish and Swedish accounting rules and IFRS
