Our goal is to ensure sustainable change for customers, stakeholders and society and to become a global leader in the green energy transition.</p><p><strong>Become part of our finance department</strong></p><p>We are seeking an experienced and innovative Accounting Operations Lead to oversee financial activities across the 4 Nordic countries. In this role, you will collaborate closely with auditors and our service centre in India to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with established standards. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of 10 professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and maintaining a collaborative work environment. You will be responsible for strong delivery accounts payable, travel expenses, bank, general ledger maintenance, and VAT compliance</p><p>1. Process Responsibilities:</p><ul><li><p>Lead and support a team of 8-9 professionals in delivering day-to-day accounting operations for the Nordic countries</p></li><li><p>Oversee accounts payable processes and control travel expenses, monitor policy compliance, and ensure timely payments</p></li><li><p>Maintain the general ledger, perform reconciliations, and support month-end and year-end closing activities</p></li><li><p>Control processes related to Fixed asset ,Accounts Receivable – Cash collection, Dunning, Bad debt, Claims, Control, Advise</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and oversee related reporting requirements</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with auditors to facilitate smooth and efficient audit processes, providing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries</p></li><li><p>Work closely with our service center in India to optimize processes, ensure data accuracy, and achieve operational efficiency</p></li><li><p>Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, regulations, and best practices, implementing necessary adjustments in the team's operations</p></li><li><p>Utilize mergers and acquisitions knowledge to support integration processes when applicable</p></li><li><p>Demonstrate expertise in Danish GAAP, ensuring accurate financial reporting in alignment with local regulations</p></li></ul><p>2. Team Leadership:</p><ul><li><p>Lead, coach, and mentor a team of 8-9 accounting professionals, developing a collaborative and high-performance work environment</p></li><li><p>Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback to enhance team productivity and development</p></li><li><p>Manage workload distribution and ensure resources are allocated effectively to meet deadlines and deliver quality results</p></li><li><p>Support and secure system training for organization</p></li></ul><p>3. Process Optimization and Internal Controls:</p><ul><li><p>Continuously assess and improve accounting processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance</p></li><li><p>Identify opportunities for automation and digitalization to streamline routine tasks and improve productivity</p></li><li><p>Develop and implement robust internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures</p></li></ul><p>4. Stakeholder Collaboration:</p><ul><li><p>Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Tax, Legal, and Operations, to provide accounting expertise and support business initiatives.</p></li><li><p>Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and other relevant stakeholders to facilitate audits, resolve inquiries, and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.</p></li><li><p>Communicate effectively with senior management, providing regular updates on financial performance, risks, and opportunities</p></li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li><p>HD-R, Cand.merc aud or CPA equivalent qualification preferred</p></li><li><p>Proven experience (12+ years) in handling accounting operations, working in a multinational environment</p></li><li><p>Comprehensive knowledge of Nordic accounting practices and Danish GAAP</p></li><li><p>Experience in handling mergers and acquisitions, with the ability to support integration efforts</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in collaborating with remote teams and service centres, especially in India</p></li><li><p>Effective communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with auditors, stakeholders, and team members</p></li><li><p>Detail-oriented, management mindset, and a proven history of maintaining accuracy in financial data</p></li><li><p>Leadership experience, with the ability to guide, mentor, and motivate a diverse team</p></li><li><p>Effective organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment</p></li></ul><p><strong>Welcome to our support organization</strong></p><p>Ramboll's support organization plays an important role in the company's strategic direction.
