The position

You will support the Head of Finance in ensuring timely delivery of our Finance core processes and development initiatives. In close collaboration with the rest of the 6 people team, you will work on improving the already existing processes and models, bringing value to the business. The primary focus will be:

  • Responsibility of planning and controlling manning and departments costs
  • Creating transparency in costing, reporting and budget allocation
  • Collaboration with the business management concerning cost controlling and finance
  • Analysis of data and risk reporting
  • Managing smaller projects within the team
  • Communication with internal stakeholders across the organisation.


Qualifications

  • Master's degree within Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar
  • 1 - 2 years of experience on Financial Controlling or Financial Partnering
  • Fluent English
  • Good at stakeholder management and communication.


It is important that you have solid understanding of management accounting and at the same time pragmatic and structured in your approach to work. You have strong analytical skills and may have knowledge and interest within data and digitalization. If you have worked with BI or SAP before this is a plus, but it is not required.

As a person you are self-motivated, proactive and show a high degree of independence as well as flexibility. You are service minded, bring a can-do attitude and thrive in a busy environment. It is crucial that you are prepared for a steep learning curve and you are comfortable in approaching complex subjects and challenges.

About the company and department

Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S (NNPR) is located in Køge, Denmark, and is 100% owned by Novo Nordisk. The company has app 190 employees and the core task of the business is to improve biopharmaceutical manufacturing for Novo Nordisk as well as for the global industry. NNPR are in the coming years expanding an already wide product portfolio within Enzymes, Synthetic Molecules and Resins. The company has the full value chain with both R&D laboratories, production facilities and a commercial organisation, plus a wide range of support departments on top.

The finance team’s responsibilities reflect the versatility of the company to support the rest of the organisation. This includes tasks within product costing, cost controlling, sales analysis, budgeting, compliance and management reporting. All this are done in close collaboration with line of business to bring high quality financial insights to support decision making in the business. We also work closely with finance organisations across Novo Nordisk.
